Thank you for choosing TabFree ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and related services.

By using TabFree, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Audio Files and Analysis Data

When you upload or import an audio file for chord analysis or track separation, the file is temporarily transmitted to our servers for processing. Audio files and their analysis results (chord labels, separated tracks, BPM, key data, etc.) may be stored on our servers for up to 24 hours to enable download, playback, and export. After this period, files are automatically deleted.

2.2 Device and Usage Information

We may collect non-identifying information about your device (such as device model, iOS version, screen resolution) and usage patterns (feature clicks, error logs) to help us improve the App's stability, performance, and user experience. This data is anonymized and not linked to your personal identity.

2.3 Account and Contact Information

TabFree does not require account creation. If you voluntarily contact us via email for support, we retain your email address only to respond to your inquiry and for quality assurance. You may request deletion of your correspondence at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the core features of the App (chord analysis, track separation, score export, etc.).
• To improve, personalize, and expand the App's functionality based on aggregated usage patterns.
• To detect, prevent, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and security risks.
• To respond to your support requests, questions, and feedback.
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or audio files to third parties.

We may share anonymized, aggregated, statistical data (not containing personal identifiers) with trusted third parties for analytics, research, or service improvement purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, users, and the public as permitted by law.

5. Data Storage and Security

Audio files and analysis outputs are stored on secure servers for a maximum of 24 hours, after which they are permanently deleted. You may also manually delete projects and local cached data through the App's storage management feature at any time.

Locally saved tracks and project files reside only on your device under your iOS app sandbox directory. These files are never uploaded by us and are fully under your control.

We employ industry-standard TLS encryption for data in transit between the App and our servers, and restrict internal access to data on a need-to-know basis.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple / App Store — App distribution, installation, analytics, and crash reporting are handled by Apple. See Apple Privacy Policy.
• Rewarded Ads (when applicable) — The App may display optional rewarded ads for downloading audio or tracks. Ad providers may collect device identifiers (e.g., IDFA) to deliver relevant ads. On iOS 14+, the App requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any tracking occurs. You may decline tracking at any time. Donating users receive an ad-free experience.

7. Children's Privacy

TabFree is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Objection / Restriction — Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
